Funny thing, the photo taken before the game came out fine but the light shining through the tree had become strong enough to obscure the view of the field by the time play started. So the first pic is featured. As to the toughness of the game, I’m going to say ‘not as tough as in our day’. But you know the effect a pun has on me, so ‘industrial strength’ footy rules even though very few leave the ground on a stretcher these days.
