What a gorgeous sunrise there, David. What are you doing in Torquay today? We have a Torquay in England, but it’s down in Devon in the southwest of the country, near where one of my sisters lives. It’s a beautiful part of the country, as your Torquay there is, too. I love the way the sun’s rays on the water on the left of the photo make that pool look almost orange. With love, Ellie Xox xox
We got up for a walk to the railway pedestrian bridge near home but the mist made for a grey-wash photo. Disappointed, I used a photo from Torquay from a little while ago, just because it was so nice.

What a shame you didn’t get the photo you wanted because of the mist. Nevertheless, the picture here of the sunrise in Torquay is, I imagine, just as beautiful. There will be plenty more opportunities for you to take a walk down to the railway pedestrian bridge and capture your intended photo another time. Then, you can treat us to another beautiful sunrise photo. With love, Ellie Xox xox
Looks early and chilly, DD.
